IICA Inks Tripartite Agreement To Support Corporate Women And Entrepreneurs

New Delhi, Nov 13 (KNN) The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and Lean Campus Startups (Trust) & WEICI India on Monday signed a MoU in Manesar, Gurugram, to empower both corporate and women entrepreneurs, augmenting their knowledge, skills, and competencies in the effective establishment and management of a diverse workforce. 

The signatories to the MoU were Dr. Lata Suresh, representing IICA, and Umesh Rathod, representing Lean Campus Startups (Founder).

The collaborative objective of IICA and Lean Campus Startups & WEICI India is to empower both corporate and women entrepreneurs, augmenting their knowledge, skills, and competencies in the effective establishment and management of a diverse workforce. 

In partnership with IICA, LCS will orchestrate programmes for women entrepreneurs and students. 

 Dr. Lata Suresh emphasised that the collaboration aims to empower entrepreneurs, both in the corporate sector and specifically women entrepreneurs. This empowerment would include providing them with resources, training, mentorship, and other support mechanisms. 

The objective is to enhance various aspects of entrepreneurship, including knowledge about industry trends, skills relevant to effective business management, and competencies required for success in a dynamic business environment.

Umesh Rathod said that the collaboration seeks to equip entrepreneurs with the tools and strategies needed to establish and manage a workforce that is diverse in terms of gender, ethnicity, skills, and perspectives. In partnership with IICA, Lean Campus Startups & WEICI India will orchestrate programmes specifically tailored for women entrepreneurs and students. 

These programmes could include workshops, training sessions, networking events, and mentorship opportunities aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and leadership among women.
