IIP organising exhibition on packaging

New Delhi, Dec 23 (KNN)  With the objective to showcase the latest developments in packaging for food and pharmaceuticals, the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) will be organising a national conference cum exhibition on consumer packaging.

The institute is organising the 16th National Packaging Exhibition Indpack from January 16 to 18, 2014 here. It will also conduct a National Conference on Consumer Packaging: Challenges & opportunities on January 17 and 18, 2014.

The goals of the national conference are to discuss the emerging trends and innovations in consumer packaging at global level and to understand how modern techniques could be used for packaging industry standards and best suited to the consumer needs.

The packaging conferences is dedicated to bringing leading-edge technology and market information to packaging industry like beverage, food, household, industrial, chemicals, cosmetic, health and beauty aids and pharmaceutical industries.

It will also highlight the features like learning the best practice for successful packaging development, trends in consumer packaging, consumer satisfaction with key insights and applications from industry experts and opportunities for the brand owners.

The event will be participating by senior executives of production, marketing, export, purchase, research and design, quality control, technical services of packaging products, machineries, vendors and user industries.

The endeavour of IIP is to improve the standards of packaging needed for the promotion of exports and help to create infrastructural facilities for overall packaging improvement in India throughout its various activities.  (KNN/ST)
