New Delhi, June 8 (KNN) Union Coal Minister Piyush Goyal today said that India needed to focus on the skill development and entrepreneurship for today’s youth.

“The present demographic situation could be a boon or disaster for the country. We need to channelize it in the right direction and strengthen the youth for tomorrow”, he said.

True empowerment can only come through proper infrastructure whose major portion consists of electricity, said the Minister.

He was speaking at the book release function titled ‘The World in 2050- Striving for a More Just, Prosperous and Harmonious Global Community' written by Harinder S. Kohli

Talking about women empowerment, Piyush Goyal said that women have potential to determine destiny of India or possibly this world.

“Personally, I have no doubt in my mind that the Women of this country have the ability to become agent of change”, he added. (KNN Bureau)
