Kurukshetra University inks pact LivSmart Automation & Security to promote innovation, R&D

Kurukshetra, Aug 22 (KNN) With the aim to promote innovation and entrepreneurial culture amongst its students, the Kurukshetra University Technology Incubation Centre (KUTIC) has signed an agreement with LivSmart Automation & Security LLP.

Speaking about the initiative by the university, Som Nath Sachdeva, Vice Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, said there was a great demand for skill development and the MoU would prove to be a milestone for students not only in the technical field but also in the field of research.

“The incubation centre provided a startup ecosystem for young entrepreneurs. It has been established at the KU to encourage students to become self-reliant by becoming entrepreneurs,” he added.

Sachdeva further highlighted that under the National Education Policy-2020, the main goal was to make youth employable and self-reliant by developing skills in them through education, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and startups.

The partnership between Kurukshetra University and LivSmart Automation & Security will provide university students with an opportunity to learn necessary job related skills and gain access to the start-up ecosystem, thus helping them in their entrepreneurial journeys.  (KNN Bureau)
