National seminar on women entrepreneurship underway in Bhopal

Bhopal, Sept 15 (KNN) The Rabindranath Tagore University under the aegis of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is organising the National Seminar on 'Women Entrepreneurship: Possibilities and Challenges' in Bhopal on September 15-16.

As per reports, over 100 researchers from across the country will present their papers in the seminar. Women entrepreneurs will also put up an exhibition of their products at the event.

The seminar will be inaugurated by Rashmi Bansal, renowned author and women entrepreneur.

Speaking about the seminar, University's Pro-Vice Chancellor Sangeeta Johri said that women have an important role in the country's entrepreneurship ecosystem. Women entrepreneurs are also finding solutions to social problems at the global level.

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has also lend its support to the seminar.

Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi, Women Entrepreneur Get Set Parents with Pallavi, Pradeep Karambelkar, Entrepreneur, Vision Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd., Saurabh Agarwal, Regional Head, APEDA Delhi, Archana Singh, Assistant Professor, TISS and Dr. Brahm Prakash Pethia, Vice Chancellor RNTU will be amongst those who will be present at the event.  (KNN Bureau)
