NSDC ropes in Sunstone as official student upskilling partner for 7 years

Mumbai, Oct 28 (KNN) National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has announced Sunstone, a higher education startup as its official skill partner for a period of seven years. 

It will provide industry-recognized and desired skill training to students across its training hubs.

About 25,000 students across India are set to benefit from this partnership.

Sunstone aims to leverage the partnership with NSDC to develop and deliver industry-oriented courses. 

It will provide training to students for the required industry-oriented courses. 

Students will get the benefit of increased placement opportunities through industry-recognized certifications and immersive training for sector-specific job roles.

Expressing his views on this partnership, Piyush Nangru, Co-Founder and COO, Sunstone said, “The partnership with NSDC aligns with our vision of enabling students with requisite skilling opportunities. The industry-academia gap is prevalent in Indian education system and Sunstone aims to bridge this through our innovative solutions.”

“To achieve our goal, we have associated with NSDC with the objective to train ‘experienced freshers’ and develop industry-oriented curated courses focusing on 21st century skills,” added Nangru.

On successful qualification, students will receive AICTE & NSDC recognized certificates with Sunstone as the Skill Partner.
