Open House, interactive session on Foreign Trade Policy

Kanpur, Jan 20 (KNN)  The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) in association with the Export Promotion Bureau here, is organising an open house cum interactive session on the Foreign Trade Policy.

The session scheduled to be held here on February-13 will cover topics such as Foreign Trade Policy (pre-policy suggestions), customs and banking related issues.

“The objective of the session is to discuss problems issues encountered by the exporting community of the region with regard to Foreign Trade Policy, Procedural and Customs related issues with the concerned Departments,” said an official release.

Senior officials from the Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax, Department Of Industries, UP and Taxation etc are being invited to interact with the participants.  Besides, experts from the offices of DGFT, CBEC, RBI, ECGC, etc will interact with the participants at the Open House, it added.

The event will be chaired by Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India, Anup K Pujari, and Principal Secretary, MSME and Export Commissioner, Department of MSME and Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh Mukul Singhal. 
 
Personnel in  the capacity of Chairman, Managing Director, Partner, Proprietor, Director, Managing Partner, Karta, President, General Manager (Exports), General Manager (Finance) General Manager (Administration), Manager-International Trade (Sales and Marketing), Purchasing and Documentation, International Customer Service, Transportation and Logistics and Finance Management and Contract Administration of the Company can participate in the Interactive Session.

It would be an excellent opportunity for participants to take up the issues with senior officials from Central and State Government.  (KNN/ES)
