Seminar on Entrepreneurship Scenario in J&K held at GDC Hyderpora

Srinagar, Oct 25 (KNN) A day-long seminar on the theme “Entrepreneurship Scenario in J & K: Opportunities and Challenges” was held in Hyderpora on October 24, 2022.

The seminar was organised by SMS (M) GDC Hyderpora in the memory of Late Prof. G.M. Bhat.

The Principal SMS (M) GDC Hyderpora, Prof. Gh. Jeelani Qureshi inaugurated the seminar in the presence of Prof Tasleema Jan, Head, Department of Education, University of Kashmir. 

The other eminent guest speakers on the occasion were  Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad, Assistant Professor ZIBS Zhejiang University, China; Shabir Ahmad Parra, Dept. of Electronics of Instrumentation Technology, University of Kashmir; Abdul Hamid Bhat CEO Rahim Motors, Rangreth, Srinagar and Sheikh Javid, Dept. of Electronics of Instrumentation Technology, University of Kashmir. 

While addressing the seminar, Parra who recently figured in the top 2 per cent of scientists list in the field of Image processing and Artificial Intelligence by Stanford University, California, USA deliberated upon Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Technoprenuership.

Prof Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad enlightened the participants about the successful evolution of nations through Innovation and Entrepreneurship while Prof Tasleema Jan shared her views about the seminar and highlighted the role of innovations in real-life situations. 

The convener of the seminar was Professor Khurshid Ahmad Mir of the Department of Political Science.  (KNN Bureau)
