Vadodara, Aug 17 (KNN) Shree Maharani Chimnabai Stree Udyogalaya (SMCSU) is set to organise a two-day exhibition ‘Urja’ in Vadodara wherein over 33 artisans will participate.

The exhibition will take off at SMCSU premises near Sursagar lake. 

Handicrafts and other products made by the artisans will be on display during the exhibition. 

“The idea is to promote works of the artisans from different states and also work towards saving the unique art,” said Radhikaraje Gaekwad, vice-president of SMCSU and member of the royal Gaekwad family.

Artist from Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal and some other states will display over 100 products.

At the fair, Gajra café will offer a unique blend of Maharashtrian and Gujarati cuisines.

The SMCSU organizes several women-oriented programmes besides imparting skill-based training to women.  (KNN Bureau)
