New Delhi, Jan 25 (KNN) PHD Research Bureau of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, is conducting a survey on Ease of Doing Business for MSMEs.

In this regard, a structured questionnaire has been prepared for your valuable inputs, which shall be produced in aggregates.

''This will help us to understand the related issues better and to represent them with possible solutions to the Central Government and State Governments,'' a mail from PHD Research Bureau said.

The Bureau further said that the information revealed in the survey would be kept strictly confidential and analysis shall be undertaken only in the aggregates.

''The information is being used only for research purposes. We request you to kindly support us in this important endeavour by duly filling the questionnaire given,'' it added.

MSMEs are crucial for growth and development of the Indian economy, contributing 32 per cent in gross value added, employing around 111 million people (36 million in manufacturing, around 39 million in trade and 36 million in other services), accounting 45 per cent of manufacturing output and contributing more than 48 per cent in total exports of India.

Considering the significant importance of MSMEs in Indian growth story and its contribution in the journey towards becoming a 5 trillion dollar economy in the coming times, enhanced ease of doing business becomes crucial for MSMEs.
