Pune, June 25 (KNN) In order to make the younger generation global citizens in today's globalized world, Symbiosis university along with many other institutes have started offering courses in international relations.

The Symbiosis Institute of International Studies (SIIS) is developing infrastructure to create a centre of excellence for international studies offering all type of courses in research and studies in international relations.

Apart from offering courses in Masters and Doctoral programme the institute will also organise workshops, area study programmes to develop better skills of the students.

Furthermore, it will also publish an e-journal of international standard to give students a chance to express their opinion on different global issues and providing opportunities for research, consultancy and policy framing.

Most importantly the students will get a chance to interact with the security experts in the think tank to get a first-hand experience of the challenges they will face in the international arena.

In this regard the SIIS has invited applications from teachers, social scientists and professionals from international relations, international law, business, diplomatic service or international consultancy.

The Symbiosis Centre for International Education focuses to streamline the processes related to international collaborations, participation in international conferences & seminars, international student mobility, setting up of area study centres etc. SIIS is a department of the University, providing support for the University's efforts to internationalize the campus and the curricula.
