Kolkata, Jan 5 (KNN) With an endeavour to boost the state economy, West Bengal Government is organizing a 'Bengal Global Business Summit 2016' to woo investors from across the world as well as from India.

This Mega summit will take place from January 7- 9 in the city. Leading industrialists and international entrepreneurs from across the globe will be attending the summit.

State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also take part in the summit and interactive sessions.

In the last business summit in January 2015, the state saw announcement of an investment of Rs 2.43 lakh crore. West Bengal has gone ahead of other states in terms of growth rate in GDP, growth in Industry, agriculture and service sector. (KNN Bureau)
