Woman entrepreneurs to conduct awareness programmes in K’taka Colleges on Govt policies and schemes

Belgaum, Feb 19 (KNN) The women entrepreneurs from Karnataka have associated with different colleges and universities across the state to conduct awareness programmes on policies of the government.

In this context, the Laghu Udyog Bharti, Karnataka Women Cell, has given a proposal to Dr Shalini Rajneesh, Principal Secretary to Government, Backward Classes Welfare Department, Karnataka.

“We have given a proposal to Dr Rajneesh and have sought support for the initiative,” said Priya Puranik, Secretary, LUB Karnataka.

Puranik, a Belgaum based entrepreneur, said that the women cell of  LUB would conduct awareness programs across several colleges and universities focusing on the policies and facilities given by the Government to SC ,ST and OBC.

Puranik said that Dr Rajneesh has assured full support to the entrepreneurs for the initiative. (KNN Bureau)
