Bangalore, April 16 (KNN) The aerospace & defence division of the Bangalore-based MSME Pushpak Group has acquired NADCAP and Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100-D certifications opening avenues to enter the global market.

These accreditations will help in creating its presence in the international aerospace and defence sectors in the area of “special process”.

On acquiring the certifications, the MSME has shown optimism about following its objective to become a global supplier for the international aerospace and defence sectors.

Its NADCAP accreditation under Pushpak Industrial Services is valid till May 31, 2023 and the AS 9100-D certification under Pushpak Products India Pvt. Ltd. is valid upto August 31, 2023.

Established in 1992, Pushpak has contributed in many national projects such as Chandrayaan 1 and 2, Mangalyaan, Astrosat, Edusat, Ventilator trolleys while fighting the COVID 19 battle, EVM and VVPAT, animal vaccination (ear tags) etc.

The government has also set an aim to become 70 per cent self-reliant in weaponry by 2027 and promoting defence indigenisation for MSME growth. (KNN Bureau)
