100 per cent airfare refund to MSME industry associations visiting abroad

New Delhi, March 16 (KNN) The move to refund 100 per cent airfare to the MSME industrialist bodies visiting abroad has been welcomed by various industry body associations.

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has changed the refund amount for industrialist associations, who have been going for business-to-business and technical meetings abroad to 100 per cent from 75 per cent.

As a first in this, 146 printers from across the country’s landscape, will be visiting China between April 9 to 17. This will be supported by MSME with 100 per cent refund of the airfare. The association has been invited by Professor Wang Yongsheng, Vice-Chancellor, Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication to visit the Print China 2015 exhibition at Dongguan, China informed Kamal Chopra, President,  All India Federation of Manufacturers of Printers (AIFMP) and General Secretary of Offset Printers’ Association (OPA)

However, to implement the same, the Government of India had to cut down on the miscellaneous expenses previously incurred by the associations, such as hiring an interpreter and taking some print material along. (KNN Bureau)
