Total 15,285 units were opened in the last fiscal year.

The department has emphasised on the importance of participation from local self-governments which will help to achieve the target of one lakh new enterprises.

The MSME clinics will also start functioning this week which is an initiative by the Industries Department to address the different issues faced by existing and aspiring entrepreneurs.  (KNN Bureau)
