200+ AP MSMEs Meet 34 Global Buyers, Eye Rs 100 Crore Export Opportunities

Amaravati, Sept 9 (KNN) More than 200 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Andhra Pradesh are seeking to tap global markets through direct business engagements with 34 international buyers at the two-day AP Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) 2026 in Vijayawada.

The meet aims to facilitate at least 100 export deals and orders, with potential export opportunities estimated at around Rs 100 crore.

Curated one-to-one business-to-business meetings will connect local enterprises with buyers from Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Japan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The participating MSMEs will also gain insights into overseas sourcing requirements, buyer expectations and international market trends.

11 Sectors Covered

The meet covers 11 priority sectors, including agro and food products, agricultural machinery, textiles and apparel, electronics and electricals, drugs and pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health and wellness, solar components, chemicals, automotive and auto components, and engineering goods.

AP Pushes Entrepreneurship And Export Growth

NTR district collector Dr G. Lakshmisha said Andhra Pradesh is focusing on innovation, investment and enterprise development to promote an entrepreneurial society through its ‘One Family, One Entrepreneur’ approach.

AP MSME Development Corporation CEO Vishwa Manoharan said the government is backing MSMEs and aims to convert buyer-seller interactions into export orders and long-term international partnerships.

India SME Forum Highlights Export Access Challenge

India SME Forum president Vinod Kumar said the initiative would help MSMEs overcome a key barrier to exports, access to credible international buyers, and enable Andhra Pradesh enterprises to transition from capable producers to globally competitive suppliers.

RBSM Held Under APMXDP, RAMP Programme

The RBSM is being organised under the Andhra Pradesh MSME Export Development Programme (APMXDP), an initiative of the AP MSME Development Corporation in collaboration with India SME Forum under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) programme of the World Bank and Ministry of MSME.

The programme is part of APMXDP’s broader effort to make MSMEs export-ready through capacity building, certification, market intelligence and international trade support.
