5.8 lakh registrations done so far under Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum

New Delhi, Apr 18 (KNN) As many as 5, 86, 572 online registrations have been done so far under the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) since September 18, 2015.

In a tweet, Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra said, “To keep the Registration process simple & hassle free @minmsme replaced filing of Entrepreneur’s Memorandum Part I&II wid single O/L Regis. Form.”

He said there shall be no fee for filing the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum and no restriction on filing more than one Memorandum using the same Aadhaar Number.

He also said that UAM is optional for Enterprises filed EM-I or EM -II or both, or Small Scale Industry Regis, prior to the coming into force of MSMED Act 2006. (KNN Bureau)
