Aanchal Ispat gets listed on BSE SME; Gokul Solutions on ITP platform

Mumbai, Dec 10 (KNN)  Aanchal Ispat Limited has been listed on the BSE SME platform, taking the total number of firms listed on the bourse to 80.

The Mumbai based company is engaged in manufacturing of Mild Steel TMT Re-bars, Structural Re-bars, Round and other Sectional products as per orders that are used in infra projects.

It is also involved in the trading of the products like Mild Steel Billets, Cement and Clinker, Charcoal and TMT and Structural Re-Bars. The company has launched its products under the brand name "RELICON".  Currently the company has two manufacturing facilities, one for TMT Re-bars and other for Structural Re-bars.

Meanwhile, Kolkata based Gokul Solutions Limited has been listed and admitted to dealings on the SME Institutional Trading Platform of Exchange (SME-ITP) in the list of IP Group of Securities, taking the total number of the ITP Exchange to 12.

There has been a lot more activity on the bourse these days with more companies listing.  Other companies that have filed documents and are waiting to be listed include Karnavati Finance Limited, Raghuvansh Agrofarms Limited, Captain Pipes Limited and Saami Tradestar Logistics Limited.

In September, BSE Managing Director and CEO Ashish Kumar Chauhan at a meeting said he was hopeful of listing a total of 100 companies by December, taking into account the good response by small and medium enterprises on the BSE SME exchange during the last two years.

He informed that many good companies from sectors such as manufacturing, metals, information technology and others were seeking to be listed on the BSE’s SME platform.

BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion.  Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue. 

BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.  (KNN/ES)
