Agra to host national exhibition on MSME

Agra, Dec 2 (KNN)  In an effort to show the strength and competitiveness of small industries, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Commissioner will be organising a national level vendor development programme cum industrial exhibition from January-11 to 13, 2014 here.

National Expo-2014 will exhibit a range of industrial products and services like financial institutions, automobiles, computer, footwear, furniture, textiles, electronic goods, food products and tour and travels.

One of the main objectives of the exhibition is to bring government departments, public sector units, large industrial houses, small industries and others onto a common platform for industrial development promotion.

The three day event will also feature interaction programmes on topics such as Public Procurement Policy 2012 for MSME, IPR, vendors-vendee meet, roles of various development agencies and NMCP schemes.

Service providers and manufacturers of industrial activities pertaining to defence, railway, oil corporation, small industries, industrial associations and entrepreneurs will participate in the exhibition.  It will also facilitate procuring departments in identifying and selecting the right vendors to meet their requirements.
