Hyderabad, May 10 (KNN) Amazon in collaboration with Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FTCCI) will help micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Telangana to enhance their digital presence and market their product online.
The project will begin with assisting 500 MSMEs in Nizamabad and later expand to the entire state.
An agreement was signed on Monday stating that the programme will cover all the districts in the state, which is home to about 2.6 million MSMEs.
Appreciating FTCCI’s effort, Telangana IT & industries principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan said, “I am glad that FTCCI, with Amazon, is helping the MSME sector in the state use technology in marketing and selling their products and services.”
E-commerce also played a major role in streamlining business processes right from receiving a product order, to managing deliveries, keeping a track of stock and even analysing consumer feedback and data, he added.
Highlighting the impact pandemic had on the MSME sector, FTCCI president K Bhaskar Reddy said that digitalisation of sectors proved saviours for businesses. (KNN Bureau)
