American giant Meta to skill 1 cr MSMEs in India over next 3 years

New Delhi, 9 Dec (KNN) While unveiling one its biggest facility in Asia located in Delhi NCR, Meta, formerly known as Facebook announced that it will impart skill training to 1 crore small businesses and 2,50,00 creators across India in span of 3 years.

It has also designed a separate arrangement for their training in Centre for Fuelling India’s New Economy (CFINE) within the premises.

Teams from Instagram, WhatsApp will be housed in the new office which are crucial platforms for small businesses to promote their products/services.

The multinational technology conglomerate said, this initiative is meant to encourage a collaborative approach and for itself to reflect on its own genesis as a startup.

According to several media reports, Ajit Mohan, MP &MD of Facebook India (Meta) said, “India is not just the largest country for Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram but in many ways the future of Internet is being shaped here.”

“The CFINE will support the growth of small businesses, creator and entrepreneurs by bringing together all its products and technology,” added Mohan.

Their first office was set up in Hyderabad almost more than a decade ago in 2010.
