Anshu Sinha will be the new CEO of KVIC

New Delhi, Jan 24 (KNN) The Khadi & Village Industries Commission will soon have a news CEO as the government has approved the name recommended by the MSME Ministry.

A notification said,  “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for appointment of Ms Anshu Sinha, IAS (MH:99) to the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (JS Level), Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Mumbai, under the Ministry of MSME.

She will be appointed for a period upto January 29, 2019.

Presently Arun Kumar Jha is the CEO of KVIC. He was appointed as the CEP in Aril, 2015. The CEO of KVIC oversees the day to day functioning of the Commission and report about its activities to MoMSME.

KVIC is a statutory body established by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act, 1995. (KNN Bureau)
