New Delhi, Oct 24 (KNN) In order to promote ‘zero defect zero effect’ production for the country as a whole, the Foundation for MSME Cluster (FMC) is organising an award distribution programme for responsible Indian business membership organisations (BMOs) on January 22, 2016.

The objective of the programme is to encourage BMOs to promote responsible business practices among MSMEs; to encourage the MSMEs support institution to support BMOs to promote such activities; to inspire MSMEs to adopt National Voluntary Guidelines (NVGs) and to disseminate nationally and internationally the best practices done by BMOs towards promoting ‘responsible practices among MSMEs”.

The awards will be categorised in three units namely cluster/SPV, district and state/country.

BMOs registered as society, trust, co-operative society, producer companies and other unregistered BMOs will be contingent for the awards.

The programme will provide benefits such as sharing lessons learnt while promoting responsible business among MSMEs; encouraging its members to move towards responsible business; interaction and network with other responsible BMOs and BDS providers and avail of their services and branding of BMOs by widely circulating their names and nature of services among MSME-Dis, DICs, banks and financial institutions.
