Awareness programme being held in Mysuru on Nov 10 on finance schemes for MSMEs

Mysuru, Nov 7 (KNN) Keeping in view that the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) mainly borrow from informal sources, an awareness programme on various schemes of the government for financing such as CGTMSE, CLCSS, Stand up India, Start up India and Mudra Scheme is being held in the city on November 10.

The programme is being jointly organized by District Industries Center, Mysore; Syndicate Bank, Regional Office, Mysore; MSME Council, Mysore and Mysore Industries Association (MIA).

MIA said, “Only 7 % of Micro and Small Manufacturing & Service Enterprises are provided financial assistance from Financial Institutions. The rest have borrowed loans from private money lenders and financial Institutions by paying abnormal interest and penal interest. This is causing heavy hardship for the development of their industries and they are under the clutches of money lenders and struggling for their existence.”

MIA said the awareness programme is being held in this regard at Hotel Nityotsava, Near Ballal Circle, Chamarajapuram, Mysore.

This Programme will be inaugurated by Atul Kumar, Field General Manager, Syndicate Bank, Corporate Office, Bangalore and will also be attended by Vasu, M.L.A., Chamaraja Constituency along with others.

The programme can be attended by new as well as existing entrepreneurs intending to expand their businesses.

Meanwhile, admission is restricted for 100 members with compulsory free registration    before 08.11.2016 at Mysore Industries Association, KIADB, KRS Road, Metagalli, Mysore or Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Council, No.1090, Vishunuvardhana Road, near Law Court, Mysore. (KNN Bureau)
