Awareness programmes on power crisis in Telangana, project viability in MSME

Hyderabad, Oct 27 (KNN)  The Association of Incipient Sick SMEs (AISSME) of Telangana is organising two seminars for its members to build awareness about general problems and challenging facing the MSME sector, and power woes in particular.

“SME sector is facing problems due to globalisation, government policies, economic recession, power supply, political unrest, unfavourable market conditions etc. SME Units are becoming NPA and sick, which is a loss not only to the state but also to the country’s economy, causing drop in GDP and employment,” said Secretary AISSME, S K Gupta.

It is to find solutions to the issues, build awareness and sensitise stakeholders on the issues, the programmes have been organised.

While the session on ‘Power crisis in Telangana’ will be held on November-3, the session on ‘Project viability in MSME’ will be held on November-10.

Industries from across the state along with industrial associations and federations, consultants, Department of Industries and Commerce, TSCPDCL, RBI, MSMEDi, NIMSME, NSIC, SIDBI, APSFC, SBI, SBH, Andhra Bank and other commercial banks are expected to participate in the programmes.  (KNN/ES)
