Awareness Programmes on ZED Certification Scheme being held for MSMEs in West Bengal

Kolkata, Mar 3 (KNN) Awareness Programmes on ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) Certification Scheme are being held for MSMEs in West Bengal.

The programmes are being conducted by industry body FOSMI under the aegis of Quality Council of India (QCI).

The awareness programmes will be held in Kolkata on March 6, in Haldia on March 7, in Chaitanya Purba Medinipur on March 8 and in Hoogly on March 10.

According to the organizers, the objective of the programme is to create proper awareness in MSMEs about ZED Manufacturing and motivate them for assessment of their enterprises for ZED rating

The programme envisages driving manufacturing with adoption of Zero Defect production processes without impacting the environment (Zero Effect) and encourages MSMEs to constantly upgrade their quality standards in products and processes

There would be no participation fee for MSMEs, however participants have to carry photocopy of any one of documents from Udyog Aadhaar Registration Number/ EM Part – I/ EM Part - II / VAT Registration No./ PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card. (KNN Bureau)
