New Delhi, Feb 17 (KNN) Indian Angel Network and the Hub for Startups are jointly organising a workshop to help entrepreneurs construct a solid and comprehensive business plan for their startups.

The two-day business plan workshop for startups will be held on February 28 and March 1 in Gurgaon.

The session will cover the components of a business plan, practical do's and don'ts in preparing a business plan and things to keep in mind in writing a business plan which will improve chances of obtaining funding and running a successful  business.

The workshop will help entrepreneurs get a deep understanding of their funding options, think about what the key drivers for their business could be, evaluate their own business case and accordingly develop their product/service road map, marketing and sales programme and operating plan.

It will also cover the process of pitching to investors, their internal evaluation processes and the time it takes for funds to hit your bank even if investors like your pitch in the first instance.

There will be interactive session designed to expand the minds of entrepreneurs and help them see a vision of the business they want to build. This process involves understanding the opportunity or need gaps, evaluating the size of the market opportunity or potential to scale and evaluating adjacent and/or parallel opportunities that could be explored in the future once the base business is stabilized.
