Campus placements & job melas are being organized in various technical centres: MSME Ministry

New Delhi, Sept 2 (KNN) The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has been organizing campus placement and job melas at various technical centres where a number of reputed companies as well as MSMEs are being invited for selection of trainees, MSME Ministry wrote on social networking sites.
 
“In order to facilitate the trainees being trained at various technical centres with gainful employment after successful completion of the training, campus placement / job melas are being organized in various technical centres,” the Ministry said.
 
A number of reputed companies as well as MSMEs are being invited for selection of trainees as per their requirement.
 
The campus placement/job mela facilitates the participating companies to select skilled manpower as per their requirement under single roof without incurring any expenditure and also provide employment opportunities to skilled manpower.
 
During the current financial year, so far four job melas have been organized at NSIC Technical centres, wherein 75 companies/ units participated in the campus placement and 625 out of 2261 candidates were shortlisted by these companies, the Ministry added. (KNN Bureau)
