Central Bank Strengthens MSME Financing Through Nationwide Outreach Drives

New Delhi, May 19 (KNN) Central Bank of India recently organised a series of mega MSME outreach programmes across Hyderabad, Faridabad and Chandigarh to promote entrepreneurship, strengthen the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector and create awareness about banking and financial assistance schemes for business growth.

Commitment To MSMEs In Hyderabad 

At the Hyderabad programme, Executive Director M. V. Murali Krishna reiterated the bank’s commitment to empowering MSMEs, startups, women entrepreneurs and self-employed youth through timely and customer-friendly financial support.

Badminton star Saina Nehwal, bank's brand ambassador, encouraged entrepreneurs to pursue their goals with dedication, discipline and confidence. She also appreciated the bank’s initiatives aimed at supporting emerging businesses and young entrepreneurs.

During the interaction session, MSME customers and entrepreneurs raised queries regarding collateral-free loans, GST-based financing, Mudra loans, repayment tenures and special schemes for women entrepreneurs and hospitality businesses.

The programme also focused on working capital assistance, digital banking services, business expansion finance and simplified loan processing for MSMEs.

Faridabad Event Sees Rs 75 Crore Credit Sanctions 

In Faridabad, the bank organised another nationwide mega MSME outreach programme that saw participation from local industrialists and entrepreneurs. The event resulted in on-the-spot sanctioning of credit facilities worth Rs 75 crore.

Bank officials briefed participants about various MSME-focused financial products and highlighted government and banking initiatives designed to support small industries and improve credit flow to the sector.

The bank also outlined upcoming financial products aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and easing access to finance for MSMEs.

MSME Banking Solutions Showcased in Chandigarh

Separately, a Mega MSME Outreach Programme was also organised at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region Headquarters in Chandigarh.

The bank showcased various MSME banking products, including working capital finance, term loans, GST-based lending, vendor finance, trade finance, machinery loans, digital banking solutions and government-backed schemes.

Awareness sessions were also conducted on financial inclusion initiatives, social security schemes, re-KYC compliance and dormant accounts.

Interactive discussions addressed queries related to credit facilities and digital banking while helping the bank generate new business leads and strengthen engagement with the MSME community.

The bank said the outreach programmes received positive feedback and helped deepen industry connect while promoting financial inclusion and entrepreneurship development across regions.
