Ludhiana, Mar 29 (KNN) The Central Tool Room, Ludhiana has signed an agreement with Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar to help MSMEs solve problems related to skilling, industry and enable research for products, process and tool development.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) entails partnership on exchange of information and data on training and skill requirement will take place to benefit the industry.

A joint project will also be undertaken to resolve specific industrial problems.

Under the pact, joint workshops and seminars will be organized in the field of technical education and industrial training to promote innovation, optimization of resources, penetration in frontier areas and allied issues of mutual interest etc.

The agreement was signed by A.P. Sharma, General Manager, Central Tool Room, Ludhiana and Prof. B. K. Kanaujia, Director, NIT Jalandhar.
