Centre of Excellence For Aspiring SMEs Gets Going With First Outreach In Delhi-NCR

New Delhi, Aug 29 (KNN) In a significant development for India's industrial landscape, a dedicated platform has been established to address the unique needs of growth-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI), a government enterprise, has partnered with the Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) to create the Centre of Excellence for Aspiring SMEs.

This collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive platform for SMEs looking to expand their operations, secure funding, and foster strategic partnerships.

The Centre of Excellence is designed to cater specifically to the requirements of ambitious SMEs, offering services that were previously challenging to access.

It will serve as a catalyst for strategic partnerships in technology and joint ventures, while also facilitating business opportunities and external equity investments.

Key focus areas include Defence Offsets and Global Value Chains (GVCs), highlighting the Centre's commitment to integrating Indian SMEs into the global industrial ecosystem.

One of the Centre's primary functions will be to act as an interface for foreign companies seeking joint venture opportunities or strategic partners within India.

This service is expected to significantly enhance the global competitiveness of Indian SMEs and attract foreign investment and expertise to the country.

To introduce the services of this innovative platform to potential beneficiaries, the Centre of Excellence is organizing its first outreach workshop.

Scheduled for August 30, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, the event will take place at the prestigious India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.

This workshop aims to provide leaders of elite SMEs with comprehensive information on how they can leverage the Centre's services to drive their growth and expansion plans.

While participation in the workshop is free of charge, prior registration is mandatory due to limited seating. Interested SME leaders can secure their spots by registering through the provided link: Registration form

By providing a dedicated platform for these crucial enterprises, the Centre of Excellence for Aspiring SMEs is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of India's industrial landscape and enhancing its global competitiveness.
