New Delhi, Jan 3 (KNN) The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana, is organizing a one day workshop on “Optimum Utilization of CNC Machine”.

The workshop will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at CICU Complex, Phase-V, Focal Point in Ludhiana-10.

CNC machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery. The process can be used to control a range of complex machinery, from grinders and lathes to mills and routers.

The topics that would be covered under the workshop are – how to reduce cycle time in CNC machining up to 20 per cent; how to reduce rejection rate in CNC machining; how to bring in cost reduction in machine shop; applications of Turning and Machine Centre; Tooling Selection; Periodic maintenance of machines.

During the workshop specific Case Studies would also be discussed.

In this regard, CICU has invited the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs to take part at the workshop.
