CII encourages MSMEs in Andhra Pradesh to sell products on e-commerce

Vijayawada, Mar 26 (KNN) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has partnered with Amazon India to encourage MSMEs leverage e-commerce platforms to sell their products online.

Jointly, they organised a session on ‘Enabling Andhra Pradesh’s MSMEs to sell on e-commerce’ on Friday. 

The crux of the event was to reach out to MSMEs across the states and support them with facilities to set up their businesses on e-commerce portal.

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, Neeraj Sarda, Chairman, CII, Andhra Pradesh, said the commerce body is helping MSMEs rebuild and recover from the losses they have incurred. 

CII has been supporting MSMEs through its various initiatives directed towards capacity building, skilling and training and business development. 

E-commerce will enable MSMEs boost their market, said G Srinivasa Rao, Joint Director, Commerce and Export Promotion.  (KNN Bureau)
