Coir Board bags gold medal for best display at IITF-2014

New Delhi, Dec 1 (KNN)  Coir Board has been awarded a gold medal for the best display and demonstration under category of public sector undertakings, export promotion councils, commodity boards and nationalized banks at the India International Trade Fair 2014, which concluded in the national capital recently.
 
The Coir Board pavilion featured a wide range of coir products in attractive designs as also diversified products like coir geotextiles, coir pith products and coir wood in different forms, according to an official release.
 
The pavilion which was inaugurated by Union Minister for MSME, Kalraj Mishra drew a large crowd including several foreign visitors to the IITF.

Coir Board is a statutory body under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India for the overall development of coir industry.  (KNN Bureau)
