DC MSME approves parameters for empanelment of Technical Agencies under SFURTI

New Delhi, Mar 16 (KNN) The Office of the DC MSME has approved the criteria or parameters for the selection of Technical Agencies (TAs) for implementation of the projects to be taken up by the MSME-Dls/ MSME-Testing Centers, MSME Technology Centers under SFURTI Scheme.

SFURTI is a Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries. Ministry of MSME had launched this scheme in the year 2005 with the view to promote Cluster development.

A meeting of the Committee for framing the criteria for selection of technical agencies to be empanelled by office of DC (MSME) for implementation of the projects under SFURTI scheme was held under the chairmanship of U.C. Shukla, Director (CD), Office of DC (MSME) in the national capital on February 4, 2020.

The Committee decided on the Broad Criteria for evaluation of proposals of the applicant organizations for selection and empanelment as Technical Agency. It also decided the specific parameters under each criterion as recommended by the Committee.

According to the specific parameters, Net worth of applicant organization should be minimum of Rs 10.0 lakh.

Also, the applicant organization should be a legal entity; Either the organization or on boarded experts should have at least one year experience in successful execution of the projects of similar nature/ for the work for artisans/ MSME sector.

The organization should have a dedicated team for the job comprising a leader having graduate degree as educational qualification with minimum one year experience in the development/promotion of the artisans/ MSMEs and adequate knowledge or expertise of project management.

Lastly, the applicant firm should have executed similar project(s) anywhere in India. (KNN Bureau)
