DCB Bank raises 300 Crores from Tier II issue, MSME - retail lending on chart

New Delhi, Nov 28 (KNN) DCB Bank in its new engagement recently announced that the bank have raised over 300 crores, this will help increase the bank's retail as well as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) lending portfolio.

The Bank’s Tier II Capital now stands at INR 536.6 Crore, a release from the bank informed.

Commenting on the recent raise, Murali M Natrajan, MD and CEO of DCB Bank said that the Tier II engagement will help bank expand its banking in retail as well as MSME sector.

Earlier DCB Bank’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) stood at 14.65 per cent (of which Tier I Capital was 12.90% and Tier II was 1.75%) as per Basel III norms.

Private Sector DCB Bank at present operates through its 310 branches across 19 states and 3 union territories.

The bank specialises in different segments including Retail, micro-SMEs, SMEs, mid-Corporate, microfinance institutions (MFI) and agriculture. (KNN/DA)
