DCMSME partners with CSCeGS to provide Enterprise Facilitation Services to MSMEs

New Delhi, Jan 2 (KNN) To support the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with Enterprise Facilitation Services, the Development Commissioner, MSME (DC MSME) under the Ministry of MSME signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSC e-governance Services (CSCeGS).

Another purpose for the signing of MoU was to generate database for MSMEs.

Whereas, the CSC e-governance Services India limited, which is a Special Purpose Vehicle (CSC-SPV) of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, will be monitoring the implementation of the Common Services Center Scheme.

It provides a centralized collaborative framework for delivery of services to citizens through CSC, besides ensuring systemic viability and sustainability of the scheme.

Under the MoU, there are number of responsibilities mentioned, which needs to be fulfilled by CSC-SPV and DCMSME respectively.

According to the agreement, both CSC-SPV and DCMSME in consultation with each other will have to make use of each other’s knowledge, products and information accessed in relation to this project.

For connecting with the maximum number of MSMEs, DCMSME will have to link CSC-SPV with Industry Chambers like FISME, PHDCC, FICII, CII etc. and also to oversee the progress of the report, the MoU said.
