Delhi start-ups organize Startathon Seminar; witnesses over 1000 entrepreneurs

It was a live pitching event along with valuable networking opportunities for the budding entrepreneurs.
The event was organized by Delhi start-ups, an active community of enthusiastic entrepreneurs, having more than 16000+ contributors along with investors and mentors who help the start-ups to nurture their ideas.
The panel of speakers at Startathon included, Kunal Shah (Co – founder of Free Recharge) , Vikas ( Co – founder, CommonFloor) and Dharamveer (Co – founder, Zostel and Zo – rooms).
“The students had a very lively and inspiring session with Kunal Shah who made a point to the answer some great question of the budding entrepreneurs present there. In fact, this speech was actually the highlight of the event,” the organisers said in a press note.
The Top – 6 start – ups who pitched to the panel of judges were –AMICUS; Drubbr; Traveljar; Sponsify me; Servx; and Cashless.
The jury consisted of - Vibhore Sharma (CTO, Info Edge Group, Naukri.com), Manoj Dawane (CTO, VP – Govt & Industry Relations, Ericsson India), Neeraj Singal (MD, Semco Group), Jatin Aneja (Senior Partner, Amarchand Mangaldas), Kunal Shah (Co – founder, Freerecharge), Vikas Malpani (Co – founder, CommonFloor) and Dharamveer SinghChauhan (Co – founder, Zostel and Zo – Rooms).
The first prize went to Cashless followed by AMICUS, Sponsify and Traveljar getting rewarded the second prize.
About the start-ups –
AMICUS – This B2C Company was the first to pitch to the panel of judges. They were asked various questions by the jury about the revenue model and other details.
Drubbr – Drubbr is an all in one app which eases out life as it marks ones preferences and sort things out for them.
Traveljar – It’s a travel diary company.
Sponsify me –This is a start – up for an event sponsorship agent company.
Servx – It is a car service platform for everyone and for all cases.
Cashless – Cashless teaches about different ways to pay for the thing through mobile apps. (KNN Bureau)
