Delhi tool engineering institute asks customers to take back unclaimed tools

New Delhi, Mar 6 (KNN) The Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DITE) has asked its customers and firms to take back the tools which they have left behind at its campus.

“Some finished and WIP of Tools are lying unclaimed since 1980 at DITE Campus –I (formerly Tool Room and Training Centre), Wazirpur industrial area,” an official notification said, asking customers to claim their tools on as is where is basis.   

The institute said that a final opportunity was being given to the customers, organisations or firms to submit their claims, if any, whose finished tools and/or semi-finished tools (WIP tools) are lying with them.

According to the institute, submission of claim can be made within a month from today.

DITE helps in the development of micro, small and medium industries through supply of trained manpower in the field of tool making, designing and supplying of sophisticated tools such as dies, moulds, press tools, jigs, fixtures etc.

The institute is also manufacturing sophisticated tools for reputed industries in the country. It also provides consultancy service in the field of tool engineering to the small scale sector. (KNN/ST)
