Jaipur, Apr 1 (KNN) For macro level growth and development of economy, upcoming new government should come up with measures that promote micro and small industries, said Federation of Rajasthan Exporters (FORE).

While sharing the expectations with KNN India from upcoming new government that will be formed after the polls, President of FORE, Rajiv Arora said “Any party who wishes to come in power should announce incentives or measures in their party’s manifesto that will give boost to small industries related with handicrafts, carpets, textiles and jewellery.”

He said the new government should come up with measures that will give boost to exports and thus creation of jobs in the coming times.

There has been a drastic fall in rate of employment in last few years due to the policies that has been introduced in last 3-4 years. Not only this, it has completely ruined the business and business environment, he added.

FORE President said “India is a country where we do not require one big industry with the value of Rs 2000 crores, instead we should have one thousand industries which are of Rs 2 crores each. Then only we can give more employment to people of this country.”

Besides this, Arora stated that India is a place with small and cottage industries more, therefore we shouldn’t look for heavy and big industries.

He said the focus of the government should be on promotion of micro, small and cottage industries in states like Rajasthan for the continuation of engines of economic growth. (KNN/YV)
