Eliminate middlemen & bureaucratic red-tape causing delays in procurement from MSMEs: Expert

New Delhi, June 10 (KNN) Plagued with various issues related to availability of timely credit, Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and limited access to markets, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) want elimination of middlemen and bureaucratic red-tape which mainly cause delays in procurement.
Sharing the expectations of MSMEs from the new Modi government for the persual, Serial Entrepreneur, Business Coach and International Author, Rajiv Talreja said “The arrival of the newly elected government; Modi 2.0 looks hopeful for the MSME sector. While it has had its focus on the development of MSMEs and assisting homegrown entrepreneurs during its previous tenure, we hope it will continue its efforts for the current term as well.”
Besides elimination of middlemen, Talreja's suggestions include renewed efforts towards enhancing the ease of doing business in India; subsidies for disruptive and innovative products, environment-friendly products, and export-friendly products; conducting skill-development programs and workshops for entrepreneurs, pertaining to digitisation, industry-specific technologies, and market expansion.
Encouraging government procurement from MSMEs and market data driven initiatives to combat corporate corruption and increase transparency are among other expectations from the newly formed government.
