FCI to sell sugar syrup to SSI candy makers

New Delhi, Mar 10 (KNN) The units in the small scale industry (SSI) sector manufacturing candies and confectioneries will be sold sugar and sugar syrup by the Food Corporation of India (FCI).
These units should be registered with the government department at the state level, according to an FCI notification.
As much as 34.45 tonnes of sweeping sugar and sugar syrup is lying in the FCI depots of the Arunachal Pradesh region, it said.
FCI generally deals with wheat and rice procurement. (KNN Bureau)
