Financial inclusion is the top priority of the Govt: PM Modi

New Delhi Dec 29 (KNN) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that financial inclusion is the top agenda of the Government.
 
Speaking at the National Conference of Schedule Castes/ Scheduled Tribes entrepreneurs, he said that centre is working for the empowerment of people, especially those belonging to the weaker section and backward class of the society.
 
“Our government is ‘aap ki sarkar’ (your government). We are working for your empowerment,” he said.

Modi said, “Financial inclusion is at the core of our focus. We want to create job-creators, not job-seekers.”

Dalit icon B R Ambedkar was the architect of the Constitution, but not many know that he was an accomplished economist too, added PM.

“Babasaheb rightly said industrialisation will give maximum benefit to our dalit sisters and brothers,” Modi said encouraging young entrepreneurs.

He said the government has also set up a venture capital fund to help people of backward classes. (KNN Bureau)
