FISME, Google and Qualcomm to Launch AI & Digital Technologies Centre for MSMEs to Drive Practical AI Adoption, Productivity

New Delhi, Oct 5 (KNN) The Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME), in association with Google and Qualcomm, will launch the ‘AI & Digital Technologies Centre for MSMEs’ in New Delhi on October 6.

The programme will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:35 PM at the Deputy Speaker Hall, Constitution Club, New Delhi.

The launch will mark the beginning of a multi-city awareness campaign, ‘Making AI Work for MSMEs’, aimed at helping micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) understand and adopt artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies for improving productivity, quality, market access and competitiveness.

Ministry of MSME Secretary Bharat Harbanslal Khera is set to attend the inauguration as the chief guest.

Focus on practical AI adoption

The Centre is being established by FISME in partnership with Google and Qualcomm to help MSMEs understand, evaluate and deploy technologies suited to their business needs.

The initiative will address practical challenges faced by smaller enterprises in technology adoption, including concerns around costs, skills, data security, vendor dependence and the process of deployment.

The Centre will also bring together MSMEs, technology companies, developers, academia and policymakers to identify practical solutions and understand the technology needs of smaller enterprises.

The launch programme will focus on moving the discussion on AI adoption from awareness to practical application. It will examine how AI-enabled tools can be used by MSMEs and what enterprises need to move from initial interest to actual deployment.

A follow-up technical hand-holding session will also be conducted by Google and Qualcomm for participating MSMEs.
