FISME to hold discussion on impact of Union Budget on MSMEs

New Delhi, Feb 11 (KNN) The Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) conducting a virtual discussion on 'Union Budget 2022-23 and its impact on MSMEs' on 16th Feb 2022 at 4 PM on Zoom platform.

One of the key objectives of this programme is to share nuances of specific announcements directly related to MSMEs in the budget (Ministries such as MSME, Commerce & industry, Finance etc).

It also intends to analyze the Budget in larger context as to how the big outlays proposed in the budget are likely to impact economy: the demand in specific sectors, impact on cost and availability of finance due to fiscal deficit & money supply among others, likely response of key economic factors such as private sector, States, FIs etc. 

Abhijit Das, Director, Center for WTO Studies; Bipin Menon, Development Commissioner Noida SEZ; Rajiv Dubey, Editor in Chief, Fortune India  & former Editor Business Today; T. K. Arun, Editor, The Economic Times; and  Dr. Vikash Gautam, Lead Economist, Koan Advisory have been invited as panelist for the discussion.

The union budget was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 1st February 2022 which has received mixed reactions from across the industry pertaining to different issues but has been majorly called as a growth oriented budget. (KNN Bureau)
