Foreign companies tying up with Indian MSME units: Giriraj Singh

New Delhi, June 30 (KNN) With the improvement in ease of doing business in India,  foreign companies are now coming forward for tying up with Indian MSME units to manufacture world standard products which are steadily creating employment for our educated youth.

This was said by Giriraj Singh, Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises who visited the Central Tool room and Training Centre in Bhubaneswar.

During the visit the minister saw various advanced facilities made available to students, trainees, internees and discussed about employment based training with faculty members.

The Minister also interacted with students of CTTC, Bhubaneswar during the visit.

He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India initiative has created ample opportunity for micro, small and medium industries to grow in India. Several small and medium industries lying ideal for many years are now invigorated and activated.”

Highlighting the present scenario of industrialization particularly in engineering field, Singh said that the requirements of specialized tools, dyes, jigs, fixtures, moulds, gauges and other precision components are indispensable.

Simultaneously demand for quality Tool makers, Tool & Product Designers, Skilled manufacturers, PLC & Industrial Automation engineers and Maintenance Engineers is also growing rapidly, he added.

Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar is one of the leading training, production, design and consultancy centres established in technical cooperation program between Govt. of India & Govt. of Denmark to meet the above requirements, Singh added.

Further, he said “The excellent infrastructural facilities like land, building, modern workshops, advanced tool rooms have contributed a lot for the progress of this institute.”
