FOSMI meeting to feature key aspects of exports

Kolkata, Feb 20 (KNN)  Federation of small and medium industries (FOSMI) is organizing an interactive session on all aspects of exports to help MSMEs in the state to increase their exports.
 
At the meeting to be held here tomorrow, Amaresh Banerjee, an expert on the subject will address FOSMI members.
 
“As you are aware export is a very important part of our economy and the MSMEs account for about 40 per cent of our exports. So there is huge scope for MSMEs to increase their exports,” said secretary FOSMI, H Ganguly.
 
Among the topics that will be covered are - identifying priority export markets and how to research new export markets for MSMEs; how to find, screen and select foreign buyers, suppliers or distributors; how to do the pricing of products for export market; procedures and license required for exports; and rules and regulations relating to export.  (KNN/ES)
