New Delhi, Dec 4 (KNN) Eyeing at facilitating information in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector of the region, Federation of Small & Medium Industries, West Bengal (FOSMI) is to hold a program on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC 2016).

The program is scheduled for December 5 at the FOSMI office at 4:30 PM.

The sessions on the IBC will be conducted by Dr. Mamta Binani. a Practicing Company Secretary and Immediate Past President of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

There will be dedicated presentations regarding the different nuances of the IBC pertaining to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector. Also a question answer session between the participants and the facilitator will be organized post presentations.

The program comes as a follow up step post implementation of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016.

FOSMI in a press statement said that the industry fraternity welcomed the framework dealing with insolvency of corporate individual, partnership and other entities.

The IBC 2016 received the assent of President of India on 28 May 2016. (KNN/DA)
