Gadkari resumes office as MSME Minister

New Delhi, June 4 (KNN) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Nitin Gadkari today took charge of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME).
Talking to media persons after resuming office, Gadkari said his ministry will focus on enhancing rural agriculture economy, economic potential and creating more employment opportunities in the rural agriculture sector.
Gadkari is succeeding Giriraj Singh who has been given charge of Ministry of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries.
Besides the MSME Ministry, Gadkari has now retained charge of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. He said that he has set a new target of laying 40 kms of road everyday over the next one-and-a-half years. (KNN Bureau)
